Cameron Hall Wins Directed Verdict at Trial

Congrats to Phoenix employment lawyer Cameron Hall on his recent trial victory over Honeywell. Cameron’s client was a former Honeywell employee that resigned shortly after being hired because the company misrepresented what his job duties would be. Honeywell responded by filing a lawsuit for reimbursement of the moving and relocation expenses it paid, citing to its Relocation and Moving Expenses Agreement (i.e., an Employment Relocation Agreement or Relocation Expense Repayment Agreement). At trial, Cameron won a complete victory for his client (via directed verdict). The Judge held that, as a matter of law, Cameron’s client did not have to pay back relocation expenses. Instead, the Judge ordered Honeywell to pay Cameron’s client for all of the attorney’s fees and costs that he incurred defending himself.
