Alabama is known for their great southern cooking and college football. The State also has a rich legal tradition. The State has produced 3 Supreme Court Justices and the greatest legal drama of the 20th century, (To Kill a Mockingbird) was set in Monroeville Alabama. Did you know that Alabama was once considered the divorce capital of America, where couples could bypass residency laws and get divorced within a few hours. After going through nearly 500 websites I learned that Alabama bar boasts the country’s pageant king, a heavy weight golden gloves winner, a contestant from the NBC show “the Biggest Loser” and an attorney who boasts the largest Yankee collection south of the Mason Dixon line. I also learned the State has some great looking legal websites:

The most visible personal injury website in Birmingham is also the best looking. Very clean design was way ahead of its time when it launched in 2012. The firm used the successful design theme to create a national railroad accident campaign as well. The series of videos on the site are extremely well done, with both attorneys deliver a masters class in communication. Both come across warm and extremely knowledgeable.

Designer did a great job incorporating fantastic custom photography for this brand new Birmingham PI site. The long form style maximizes the visual impact while also allowing for a lot of home page content – important for SEO. This style is also a welcomed change from the boring legal website template made popular by the larger legal marketing firms – where seemingly everything is stuffed above the fold and the only customization is whether the practice area navigation is on the left or right.

Great looking business litigation website in Birmingham. Site incorporates some nice design elements, including parallax scrolling. From an online marketing perspective, the site has not been optimized for the search engines and it lacks some basic marketing fundamentals – like having a visible phone number above the fold. That said, for a high end corporate firm like this that relies on attorney and client referrals, those pieces are likely not necessary. What they do have is a very impactful business brochure they can be very proud of.
