There has been a ton of coverage in the media lately around police shootings.  1 Point 21 Interactive just released an amazing interactive content piece that chronicles close to 3000 deaths by police since 2011.   Unfortunately the total amount of deaths is unknown because no national database exists to track this.   1 Point 21 Interactive got their data through crowd sourcing and news reports.   Each line in the graphic below links to an actual news report.  You can sort by weapon used, race of the victim and year.   This is definitely worth sharing.
